QA Technologies Ltd. is a telematics company based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan that develops fleet management technologies to the transportation industry.[1] The company conducts in-house research and development and markets two main products, AccutrAVL and AccutreQ.net.
History
QA Technologies was founded in 2002 by parent company DynaVenture Corp.[2] The Saskatoon based technology company has provided custom built software to organizations such as Purolator Courier, SaskTel and Frito-Lay Canada.[3]
Products
AccutrAVL is an Automatic Vehicle Location System.[1] AccutreQ.net is a fleet management device that includes automatic electronic driver logs, real time two way communication, on-board mapping, integrated tire pressure monitoring systems, fleet productivity measurement tools, and reports to aid in managerial decision making.[1]
Strategic Partnerships
Strategic partnerships between QA Technologies and two US based companies have brought additional features to the primary fleet knowledge systems. QA Technologies signed a multi-year license agreement with Tele Atlas, a global provider of digital maps that delivers GIS mapping content to over 200 countries and provides data for Google Maps.[3] The second US partnership is with Advantage Pressure Pro with the integration of a Tire Pressure Monitoring System with the AccutrAVL and AccutreQ.net system.[4]
