Putsuri is a village in Bardhaman district, West Bengal.[1] Approx. 35 km from the nearest railway station Memari on Howrah-Bardhaman Main line. Mode of travel - bus or car from Memari station.Here,resided a famous former Mathematics teacher of Bardhaman district Mr.Sukumar Acharyya.He presently resides in Howrah.Putsuri is famous for its special type of sweets "Monda".Lots of people come from far away places to buy "Monda"
