Pumas Morelos was a Mexican football club that was based in Cuernavaca, Morelos. They were the satellite (filial) team to Pumas UNAM which plays in the First Division of Mexico.[1]
History
The history of this team is short as it was founded in 2006, its first game was in a duel against Zacatepec where them lost 3-2.
Despite being a subsidiary of Club Universidad Nacional is considered a professional team that competes in professional competitions, and all players have professional player card, unless you play with the youth team tab.
For Pumas Morelos rows have spent the best players that have reached the first team Pumas UNAM university from the quarry: Odin Patino, Alejandro Palacios, Diego de Buen, David Cabrera, Fernando Morales, Jehu Chiapas, Luis Fernando Fuentes, Carlos Orrantia, Eduardo Gamez, David Izazola, Fernando Espinosa or Eduardo Herrera, Javier Cortes and players who have developed the bulk of his career in other important equipment like Hector Moreno, Pablo Barrera and Efrain Juarez. One of the last stars emerging from Pumas Morelos is offensive midfielder Javier Cortés, which debuted in the 2008-2009 season in the first team, coached by Ricardo "Tuca" Ferretti
On November 29 became official Pumas Morelos selling to an investor group led by the Legends Carmelites Jorge Campos and Claudio Suarez, who confirmed that the team will stay in Cuernavaca, denying rumors of a possible transfer to Cd del Carmen, Campeche.
