Pumaqulluni (Aymara puma cougar, puma, qullu mountain,[2] -ni a suffix to indicate ownership, "the one with a cougar mountain", hispanicized spelling Pumajolluni) is a mountain in the Kallawaya mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 5,200 metres (17,060 ft) high. It is located in the Puno Region, Carabaya Province, on the border of the districts Ajoyani, Coasa and Ituata. Pumaqulluni lies southwest of the mountain Chullumpirini and north of the village and the lake named Pumaqulluni.[3]
