Psychedelic Mango Corridors Of Blissterday

Psychedelic Mango is the debut studio album by Australian Psychedelic rock band, Pond. The album was released on 9 January 2009 (only 500 copies were pressed) through Badminton Bandit and re-released digitally in 2010. According to the liner notes it was recorded by Nick "Paisley Adams" Allbrook, Jay "Wesley Goldtouch/Wirey B. Buddah" Watson and Joseph "Shoseph Orion McJam" Ryan on Nick's parent's house, on their 8-track.

Liner notes:

"An immaculately divided mango is carefully laid in the green, summery garden behind a cottage in the middle of Fremantle. In the granny flat of his parent’s house Nick, Joe and Jay record the first Pond album on their 8-track. One of the many amalgamations from the Mink Mussel Creek split, Pond formed the day of their first show at Cair Paravel (a series of Badminton Bandit run house parties in North Perth, 2008). Oozing with catchy, feel-good, summer-jams, Mango takes you back to that sunny-day when you just knew that everything was going to be OK."
