The Pseudalethes are small mainly insectivorous birds in the Thrush family Turdidae, although some taxonomists place them in the Old World Flycatcher family Muscicapidae. The genus was formerly considered conspecific with Alethe.
All are African species:
- Brown-chested Alethe, Pseudalethe poliocephala
- Red-throated Alethe, Pseudalethe poliophrys
- Thyolo Alethe, Pseudalethe choloensis
- White-chested Alethe, Pseudalethe fuelleborni
