Prozor-Rama is a municipality in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The town of Prozor is located in the northern part of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton. There is Ramsko jezero (Rama Lake).

History

In the Middle Ages, the King of Hungary held the title of King of Rama named after this region.

On 14–15 October 1942, Chetniks entered Prozor while partaking in Operation Alfa and killed 543 Catholic and Bosniaks civilians under the suspicion that they harbored and aided the Yugoslav Partisans.[1]

Sports

The area is home to the football club NK Rama, and basketball club HKK Rama.
