Proxyon

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Proxyon is a Dutch synthpop project founded by Michiel van der Kuy (who also worked in similar synthdance projects as Laserdance, Koto, Rygar and Area 51).

History

Proxyon released its first single, "Space Hopper", in 1987 under the Rams Horn Records label. The first two Proxyon albums (Proxyon and The Interplanetary Mission) were co-produced by Michiel van Eijk and Rob van Eijk, and composed by the Dutch synthpop musician Michiel van der Kuy. The third album, Return Of Tarah, had a slightly different sound because it was made by a different record producer who billed himself as 'Jay Vee'.
