Protestantism in Bhutan

Protestantism is a minority in Bhutan. The Church of God in Christ is likely the denomination supplying most gospel tracts in Bhutan. The majority of the Christians are Pentecostals. The Church of God in Christ is of Pentecostal character. The Church of God in Christ has about two congregations in Bhutan. The Indian New Life League is a denomination with one congregation in Bhutan. The Diocese of Eastern Himalaya is a diocese of the Church of North India. Its seat is Darjeeling. There are other Christian groups like El-Shaddai and those who are separated from the denominational churches to simply gather as Christians in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. They are called as brethren. Their number is about 400 in Bhutan.
