The Protea Cup is an semi professional rugby league competition in South Africa and is the second divion of South Africa. The current holders are the TUKS Blues, after winning the 2013-14 season against the Middelburg Tigers in the grand final. During the 2013-14 season, the Johannesburg Bobbies and the Germiston Fish Eagles withdrew from the competition 3 weeks before the final round.
