Prostitution in Oman

Prostitution in Oman is illegal and only sex within a legalized marriage is permitted. Oman has a serious problem of people trafficking involving women and is considered a tier 3 level by the CIA.[1][2][3]

In 2012 a Burmese woman, 30 years old, she was instead forced into prostitution in Oman.[4]
