Prosecutive case

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The prosecutive case is a grammatical case found in Tundra Nenets[1], in Old Basque and, with spatial nouns, in Mongolian[2]. This is a variant of the "prolative case".

It is used to describe movement using a surface or way. An example is the phrase "by way of/through the house."
