Prophet Entertainment (or Prophet Posse) is a Memphis, Tennessee based rap record label formerly owned by DJ Paul and Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia. It is now owned by Nick Scarfo.

History

Backyard Posse founder Nick Scarfo founded Prophet Entertainment with DJ Paul and Juicy J. The label's acts included Three 6 Mafia, Prophet Posse, and the Killa Klan Kaze. Nick Scarfo had a disagreement with Three 6 Mafia and sued over the label.[1] DJ Paul and Juicy J of Three 6 Mafia went on to form their own label Hypnotize Minds.[2]

In early 2000 former members of Triple 6 Mafia joined the new Prophet Posse, which is still led by Nick Scarfo. They have released three albums since 2007.

Since making Choices the movie,[3] they have gained much more national and global recognition.
