Projekt Herz EP (English: Project Heart EP) is the first EP by German metalcore band, We Butter the Bread with Butter. It was released December 19, 2012 independently. It is also the first release to have Paul Bartzsch on vocals.

On Facebook, the band posted a comment on November 18, 2012 with a picture of their new album cover for "Projekt Herz" saying "It all begins Thursday". The album is rather different from their earlier works. Firstly there is no comedy involved. The lyrics are more serious this time around compared to their earlier songs like "Alle Meine Entchen" for example, which is a cover of a German nursery rhyme about ducks. Secondly, the sound is much more reminiscant of industrial metal than it used to be. Their older albums are clearly a mix between deathcore and electronic metal, this album is far more atmospheric and has a higher use of electronic elements.

The album was hitting Nr. 10 at US Album Charts.[1]
