Profero Group is an independent digital integrated marketing agency specialising in digital advertising & marketing and staffs over 560 employees. Its services typically include digital marketing, creative media, technology, UX and strategy. “Profero” works in partnership with Plan.net offering services across regional locations across mainland Europe.[1]

History

Profero launched on the 25th of March 1998 by brothers Daryl & Wayne Arnold "having found finance by maxing out their credit cards."[2] During the same year Profero acquired Sky (UK and Ireland) as an early client, by the October of 1998 Profero delivered a fully integrated campaign and was known to be the first and only organisation to "own" the internet in the UK for an entire day.[3] Since 1998 Profero Group have produced over 4,000 campaigns for clients including M&S, COI and Western Union, the company has expanded into Europe, Asia and Australia. In 2000 Profero become the first digital agency to join the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising.[4] A move that led to further development of the company and press the need for regional offices. From 2000 to 2010 Profero opened offices across the world to develop their global offering (London, Sydney, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo Beijing, New York, and Seoul).

During the April of 2012 “Profero Group” put a majority stake into VOX collective creating "Voxprofero". Profero’s second expansion in America, the merger has been seen as a move to increase the “Profero Group” influence across Latin American markets.[5]

Services

The main services within the Profero office can be divided into three groups. Profero’s Communications division was founded alongside the company in 1998, focusing on digital advertising creative and integrated customer-centric strategies. Profero Performance is Profero’s digital media business. It was established as a separate division within Profero in 2008. Profero Performance provides services across the entire digital paid media space.
