He sanctioned government secondary school, intermediate college and vocational college.
  • Vedula Subbarao and his wife Vedula Bhanumati have contributed to the village development and welfare.
  • Freedom Fighter Garimella Satyanarayana who wrote the MAKKODDU EE TELLA DORATHANAM patriotic song was born in this village
  • Freedom Fighter Burela Sree Rama Murthy Bhukta and Sripada Jagannadham also born in this village
