Prionosciadium is a genus in the carrot family, Apiaceae. It is native to Mexico, Colombia and Central America. Over 30 specific names have been proposed, though not all of them widely accepted.[1]
Uses
The Mountain Pima (Pima Bajo) peoples of the Sierra Madre Occidental of Chihuahua eat the taproots of Prionosciadium saraviki Laferr.[2]
