Prestonwood Christian Academy

Prestonwood Christian Academy (PCA) is a private PreK-12 school in Plano, Texas. As ministry of Prestonwood Baptist Church, it was founded 1997. It has approximately 1,500 students and over 1000 graduates.[1]

PCA Introduced the Apple®For Everyone program this year which allows every student from PreK-12th Grade access to Apple® technology, including iPad® and MacBookAir® devices.

PCA is academically exceptional with National Merit Scholars,National Merit Semifinalists and National Merit Commended students as well as several AP Scholars. The Class of 2013 earned a combined 8.6 million dollars in offers for college scholarships.

PCA's Athletics program has garnered 30 District Championships, 23 Regional Championships, 10 State Championship Runner-up teams, 10 State Championships, and 7 National Championships. In PCA Fine Arts, PCA has won 6 National Championships at the International Thespian Society and PCA's Upper School art department has won 3 consecutive TAPPS State Art Championships.

In pursuit of excellence in education the mission of Prestonwood Christian Academy is: To assist Christian parents by helping equip students to embrace biblical truth, strive for academic excellence, and model Christ-like leadership to influence their homes, churches and communities for Christ.
