Presença de Anita (English: Anita's Presence) is a 2001 Brazilian miniseries based on the novel of the same name written by Mário Donato. An obsession, seduction and death story about the 18-year old lolita-type girl, Anita and the 45-year old family man, Fernando, it stars Mel Lisboa and José Mayer as the main characters. Mel Lisboa, who was 19 at the time, had her acting debut in this series, playing her most-famous role up to today. The series, directed by Ricardo Waddington and Alexandre Avancini, aired on Rede Globo from August 7 through August 31, 2001, in 16 chapters.

Synopsis

The plot begins with the couple, Lucia Helena (Helena Ranaldi) and Fernando, who are going through a marital crisis. He is an architect with literary aspirations, even when she is finishing her first book. She is a woman whose main concern is to rescue the love of her husband and save her marriage. They live in São Paulo, in the urban chaos. Lucia Helena decided to invest in a trip with the family, her son Zezinho (Leonardo Miggiorin) and stepdaughter Luiz Luiza (Júlia Almeida), in her hometown of Florence, in the province of São Paulo. There the family gathers for Christmas and New Year.

In order to save her marriage, Lucia tries to please her husband, accept his rages, encourages his literary projects and participates in his fantasies. But Anita loves sex and made it better than his wife, bedodes she was younger and more mischievous and knew how to really please him.[1]
