Preferred Hotel Group is an international hospitality company based in Chicago, Illinois. It which provides sales, marketing, and technology solutions[2] to over 650 [3][4] independent luxury hotels and resorts in the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, Australia, and New Zealand and Pacific. Its services include integrated marketing and communications, loyalty programs, trade shows and events, sales support, quality assurance, and group purchasing; and Total Branded Connectivity,[5] a solution for reservation management that connects various reservation channels. The company serves hotel owners and operators.

In May 2005 Preferred Hotel Group was renamed from IndeCorp.[6]

Philanthropic Efforts

Preferred Hotel Group is a founding partner to the Good Night Foundation, a non-profit organization with leading hoteliers to raise funds for worldwide programs which focus on health, education, the environment, and alleviation of poverty.

In June 2011 Preferred Hotel Group launched Check-In for Japan,[7] an online flash-sale auction site to raise money for the American Red Cross relief efforts after the Japan earthquake 2011. The effort raised over $100,000[8] for the American Red Cross.

John Ueberroth spoke on CNBCs Squawk Box on April 2009 to speak about the economic downturn and how it affected luxury travel and luxury hotel accommodations.[9][10]

The New York Times wrote an article about Preferred Hotel Group in April 2011 featuring the new Preferred Pride program, a program designed to certify and help identify the needs of gay and lesbian travelers.[11][12]

In May 2011 Lindsey Ueberroth, the president of Preferred Hotel Group, went on CNBCs Squawk Box to discuss the impact the Late-2000s financial crisis had on the luxury hotel industry. She also discussed research Preferred Hotel Group had recently done about baby boomer travel.[13][14]
