Preachers Son

Preachers Son is an Irish, Dublin based, band lead by Kíla bass player[1][2][3] and Irish musician Brian Hogan.[4][5] In 2009 Brian launched Preachers Son[6] and, as of 2012, has collaborated and worked with numerous respected guest musicians including Gavin Friday, Liam Ó Maonlaí, Keiron Kennedy, Emmaline Duffy-Fallon,[4] Tabby Callaghan,[7] Richie Buckley, Kenny Wollesen,[8] Cáit O'Riordan and Sarah Jane Wai.[9] and the world famous song writer John Donnelly. In 2010 debut album Love Life and Limb was released,[10][11] mixed by Dave Bascombe[12][13] at the Metropolis studios in London.[13] Gavin Friday sings a duet "Lipstick" with Hogan on the album.[14]

Latest single Come On was released in Ireland April 2012. The Come On music video won best music video in The Los Angeles Film and Script Festival[15] and was included in the London International Film Festival;[16] Alex Lester played the single Come On on BBC Radio 2 ahead of the UK release.[17]

Brian is the son of Larry Hogan a musical Catholic lay man preacher.[6]
