Prakash Koirala

Prakash Koirala is a Nepalese politician and former minister of Environment, Science and Technology, son of former Nepalese Prime Minister Bishweshwar Prasad Koirala. He was elected to the Pratinidhi Sabha in the 1999 election on behalf of the Nepali Congress.[1] His daughter is Bollywood actress Manisha Koirala.
On July 15, 2005, he was appointed as the cabinet minister of Nepal for Environment, Science and Technology in the royal cabinet of erstwhile King Gyanendra when he assumed absolute power sacking the Sher Bahadur Deuba government.[2]
