Prajwal Devaraj

Prajwal Devaraj, (born 4 July 1987), is an Indian film actor who mainly works in Kannada film industry.^[1]

Early life

Prajwal is the son of a famous yesteryear Kannada actor Devaraj who is popularly called as "Dynamic Hero" in the film circles.He has a younger brother, Pranam Devaraj.^[2] Prajwal completed his bachelor degree course from Shri Bhagwan Mahaveer Jain College, Center for Management Studies, Bangalore.^[3]

Career

He was introduced to Kannada films by the movie 'Sixer' in 2007 and later in an action packed film 'Geleya'. While 'Sixer' did an average business, 'Geleya' brought him a lot of acclaim for his acting skills. The film however did not fare very well at the box office. He kept on working in a slew of films one after another which boosted his star status sans the films' performance at the box office.His popularity increased after the success of his movie 'Bhadra' which completed around 100 days in many theatres across Karnataka. The success streak has continued with continuous hits like 'Sagar', which completed over 50 days in theatres across and 'Gokula Krishna'. Prajwal's movies in the pipeline are 'Dil Ka Raja' starring Ramya & Galate. He has four other movies in the making that are currently undisclosed.

Prajwal with his 'Chocolate Boy' looks and charismatic acting has a tremendous fan following. He is popular among the 'Mass' & 'Class' crowd as stated in Sandalwood circles. Known to be one of the best dancers in the industry, his capability to be an action hero were proved at the box office post the success of 'Sagar'. Prajwal is one of the rare actors who has the capability to carry any role given to him and is known as a "Director's Actor". The 'Dynamic Prince' as he is called by his fans is steadily growing in experience and maturing as a performer with each and every movie.
