Prahran is a railway station in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, located in the suburb of Prahran, on the Sandringham railway line. Prahran is classed as a Host Station and is in Metcard Zone 1.
Facilities
Prahran is located at the southern end of the Greville Street level crossing, which provides station access.
The station consists of two side platforms; The office building is on platform 1. The station is considered as a Host station which is manned from 6:30am to 9.30am. Myki ticket vending machines are located at the entrances to platform 1 and 2, which are able to dispense most ticketing options available, accepting notes, coins and cards.
Chapel Street, Prahan market and Swinburne TAFE, just a few minutes walk from the station.

History
Prahran station opened on 22 December 1860 as Greville Street. It was renamed Prahran in 1867.[1]
