PowerA is a video game peripheral manufacturer known for its MOGA line of controllers.

History

PowerA is based in Woodinville, Washington.[1]

MOGA controller series

The original MOGA controller let players clip their Android devices into a game controller to add traditional console controls to Android games.[2] It was released October 21, 2012.[2] The MOGA Pro added wireless connectivity between the device and controller.[3] It looks similar to the Xbox 360 controller.[1] VentureBeat's Dean Takahashi called it "one of the many new devices that will aid smartphones and tablets in their attempt to dethrone dedicated game consoles and portable game controllers".[1]

PowerA announced Moga's second generation versions for a fall 2013 release.[4] They will support same-screen multiplayer and a new design.[4]
