Postal Babes is a mobile game developed for Running With Scissors, Inc. by HeroCraft. Though part of the POSTAL series of video games, the plot of POSTAL Babes has nothing to do with the storyline that follows The POSTAL Dude. Instead, this mobile game focuses on the eponymous "POSTAL Babes", a group of attractive fictional women who are skilled in the use of weapons and that have made appearances in other installments of the POSTAL series.

Plot

The POSTAL Babes receive a message alerting them that there are some strange events taking place in the local university. The POSTAL Babes discover that some maniacs have taken over the university, and that they have taken first year girls as hostages. The POSTAL Babes must infiltrate the university and go through 12 action-packed levels to rescue the hostages. During their journey, the Postal Babes have lots of different weapons at their disposal, including but not limited to baseball bats, knives and machine guns.

Origin of the term

The POSTAL Babes first appeared at E3 in 2002 as live models with Gary Coleman as part of RWS’s guerilla marketing effort. The "POSTAL Babes" originated in the multi-player expansion Share the Pain of POSTAL 2, cheering the winning player or team, and later appeared in the Apocalypse Weekend expansion in a minor role. For ongoing promotional purposes of Running With Scissors, real playmates have appeared in the company's official website. Among the models that have appeared as "POSTAL Babes" are Suzanne Stokes, Bridget Marquardt, Traci Bingham, Stephanie Heinrich, and Jennifer Walcott, who appears as leader of the POSTAL Babes in POSTAL III. They frequently appear with black t-shirts and thongs with the POSTAL and Running With Scissors logos.[1]

Reception

POSTAL Babes has been awarded 1st Place Winner in the 2009, Mobile VAS Awards, and with the Silver Award 87/100 by Project Next Gaming, - POSTAL Babes Mobile.[2]
