The Post-Bulletin is the major newspaper for Rochester, Minnesota. Published Monday through Saturday each week, it is the largest afternoon newspaper in the state. The Post-Bulletin also offers an exact replica of the print edition online to subscribers. It publishes an Austin, Minnesota edition.

Originally there were two separate publications, the Post and the Bulletin. The Post-Bulletin's foundation marked the combination of these two in 1925. The Withers family ran the paper from 1925 until Bill Boyne took over in 1979. Now, Post-Bulletin employs 220 people.[2]

The Post-Bulletin is owned by The Small Newspaper Group, which also owns many other news providers in the midwest.

The Post-Bulletin publishes a monthly magazine, Rochester Magazine, which awards "Best (fill in the blank) of Rochester" plaques to local businesses. The Post-Bulletin also publishes Rochester Magazine, Business-to-Business and Agri-News, the largest weekly agricultural news source in the Midwest.
