Poruvazhy is a village in Kollam district in the state of Kerala, India. Famous temple Poruvazhy Peruviruthy Malanada Temple locates in this place. Poruvazhy Peruviruthi Malanada, on the top of the hill (Duryodhanan, the only one in kerala), kettu kuthira is main attraction. Meenam 1st Friday to 2nd Friday festival and fireworks are famous. Toddy nivedyam in addition to other Naivedyams. The village is blessed with many grameena libraries like Njana samvarthini Paravattom etc.[1]
