Port Tobacco

Port Tobacco refers to a large swath of unincorporated areas surrounding, and including, the small incorporated town of Port Tobacco Village in Charles County, Maryland.[1] Even prior to the incorporation of Port Tobacco Village in 1888,[2] the region was known simply as Port Tobacco and contributed to Maryland's cultural and economic history.[3]

Historic landmarks within Port Tobacco include Chapel Point, home of St. Ignatius Church, and Rose Hill.
