Popielno [pɔˈpjɛlnɔ] (German Popiellnen) is a settlement in the administrative district of Gmina Ruciane-Nida, within Pisz County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 13 kilometres (8 mi) north of Ruciane-Nida, 20 km (12 mi) north-west of Pisz, and 74 km (46 mi) east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
The settlement has a population of 180.
