Pontirolo Nuovo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 40 km northeast of Milan and about 18 km northeast of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 4,649 and an area of 10.8 km².[1]
The municipality of Pontirolo Nuovo contains the frazione (subdivision) Fornasotto.
