Pontecchio Polesine is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rovigo in the Italian region Veneto, located about 60 km southwest of Venice and about 6 km southeast of Rovigo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,602 and an area of 11.5 km².[1]
The municipality of Pontecchio Polesine contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Borgo, Busi, Ca'Zanforlin, Chiaviche Roncagalle, L'Olmo, and Selva.
