Pontdolgoch (English: Bridge over the Red Meadow) is a very small village in Powys, Wales.
Pontdolgoch is located within the valley of the River Carno, some two miles northwest of Caersws, on the A470 road where, as its name suggests, the A470 bridges the river.
Pontdolgoch is Welsh for 'Bridge over the Red Meadow', the name deriving from an ancient, and bloody, battle. More formally in Welsh the name should be represented as Pont Dôl-goch.
Pontdolgoch is also home of the award winning Bar/Restaurant/B&B Ty Siarad (Welsh for 'Talkhouse').
