Pontardawe railway station was a railway station on the Swansea Vale Railway that ran along the River Tawe and that British Railways closed in 1964.

It was next to the Gwachel public house and the Victorian bridge over the Tawe.

The station was used primarily to carry coal. The station closed as coal mining in Pontardawe was declining in the 1960s.
