Ponta (pronounced pahn-TAY) is a small unincorporated community in eastern Cherokee County, Texas (USA), located between Jacksonville and Nacogdoches at an intersection of Texas State Highway 110 and Texas State Highway 204. It lies at an elevation of 341 feet (104 m).[1]
