Ponik [ˈpɔnik] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Janów, within Częstochowa County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 1 kilometre (1 mi) south of Janów, 25 km (16 mi) south-east of Częstochowa, and 61 km (38 mi) north-east of the regional capital Katowice.
The village has a population of 356.
