Polay Kalan is a town and a nagar panchayat in Shajapur district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
Demographics
As of 2001 India census,[1] Polay Kalan had a population of 10,849. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 38%. Polay Kalan has an average literacy rate of 61%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 74%, and female literacy is 46%. In Polay Kalan, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.
