Pognano is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region of Lombardy, located about 40 km northeast of Milan and about 13 km south of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 1,374 and an area of 3.2 km².[1]
Pognano borders the following municipalities: Arcene, Lurano, Spirano, Verdello.
