Poederoijen is a village in the Dutch province of Gelderland. It is a part of the municipality of Zaltbommel, and lies about 9 km southeast of Gorinchem.
Poederoijen was a separate municipality until 1955, when it was merged with Brakel.[1]
In 2001, the village of Poederoijen had 398 inhabitants. The built-up area of the village was 0.083 km², and contained 119 residences.[2] The statistical area "Poederoijen", which also can include the peripheral parts of the village, as well as the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 860.[3]
