Podstran is a settlement north of Moravče in central Slovenia. Traditionally the area was part of Upper Carniola. It is now included with the rest of the Municipality of Moravče in the Central Slovenia statistical region.[2] It includes the hamlet of Sveti Mohor (German: Sankt Hermagor[3]).[4]

The local church, built on a hill to the north of the settlement, is dedicated to Saints Hermagoras and Fortunatus and belongs to the Parish of Moravče. It dates to the 15th and early 18th centuries.[5]
