Pniewo [ˈpɲevɔ] (German: Stobben) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Węgorzewo, within Węgorzewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland, close to the border with the Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia.[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Węgorzewo and 87 km (54 mi) north-east of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1945, the area was part of Germany (East Prussia).
