Plered

Plered is the location of the palace of the successors of Sultan Agung [1] close to the banks of the Opak River in Southern Central Java in Indonesia, south of Kota Gede. It has been researched for archaeological remains [2] It is located to the east of the site of Sultan Agung's palace at Karta. It is also the location of extensive irrigation and other water works which occurred at the time of the palace being used.
