"Please Read Me" is a song by the British rock group The Bee Gees, released as the thirteen track on their 1967 album Bee Gees' 1st. Written by Barry and Robin Gibb.[1] The song starts with a guitar by Barry and Maurice, and Colin added tom-tom on this song, with harmony vocals by Barry and Robin. This track was recorded in March 23, same day as they recorded and finished "Life" (unreleased), "In My Own Time" and "Every Christian Lion Hearted Man Will Show You.[2]

The song is about a simple man and now worries him, he never doing lied and he tells a person saying 'Please read me'. He also never saw a reality as he never tried them. The man is lying on him/her couch too long, and the man stay if him/her can see him through.

It was recorded by Nina Simone and released as the fourth track on her 1968 album 'Nuff Said!.[3]
