Playtone

The Playtone Company is an American film and television production company and record label established in 1996 by actor Tom Hanks and producer Gary Goetzman.
It was named after the fictional record company "Playtone" in That Thing You Do!, written and directed by Hanks. The record label is distributed by Sony Music Entertainment through primarily Epic Records and sometimes Columbia Records.
