Planina pri Sevnici (pronounced [plaˈniːna pri ˈseːu̯nitsi]) is a village in the Municipality of Šentjur in eastern Slovenia. The area is part of the historical region of Styria. The municipality is now included in the Savinja Statistical Region.[2]

The local parish church is dedicated to Saint Margaret and belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Celje. It is a 15th-century building, extended in around 1700.[3] Above the settlement are the ruins of a 12th-century castle, abandoned in 1884.[4]
