Placidus Nkalanga (born June 19, 1919) is a Tanzanian Prelate of Roman Catholic Church.
Nkalanga was born in Ruti, Tanzania and was ordained a priest on July 15, 1950 from the religious Order of Saint Benedict. He was appointed Auxiliary bishop of the Diocese of Bukoba on April 18, 1961 and ordained bishop on May 21, 1961. Nkalanga was appointed bishop of the Diocese of Bukoba on March 6, 1969 and remained until his resignation on November 26, 1973.
