Piran Rural District (Persian: دهستان پيران) is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Piranshahr County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran.[1] At the 2006 census, its population was 12,599, in 2,257 families.[2] The rural district has 30 villages.
