Pirşağı (also, Pirshaga and Pirshagi) is a settlement and municipality in 34 km away from railway station of Baku, Azerbaijan, located on the northern coast of Absheron, and included into Sabunchu disctrict of Baku city. A seaside climatic resort. It`s considered to be one of the most ancient settlements in Absheron. It has a population of 4,826.

Pirshagi is famous for its "gold dust" called sandy beaches. There also grows grapes and figs famed for its taste . There are many architectural monuments in Pirshagi- a mosque constructed in 19th century, an old bathhouse, and also a pir called “Pirshagi tataz piri”, formerly a lot of pilgrims came together in this place and that is why the settlement is called Pirshagi (in translation: the Shah of feasts). The local climate and sand is considered to be curative and a lot of representatives of the Azerbaijan intelligency had summer residences in this area for that reason. For example, residences of composer Gara Garayev, singer Bulbul, artist Elbey Rzaguliyev, actor Agasadikh Geraybeyli, and many others. Nowadays, the settlement accepts a lot of vacationers both from Azerbaijan and other foreign countries each summer as well. There are high school, kindergarten, boarding school, cultural center and polyclinic functioning in the settlement.
