Piotrowiec [pjɔˈtrɔvjɛt͡s] (German Peterswalde) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Pieniężno, within Braniewo County, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, in northern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 10 kilometres (6 mi) north of Pieniężno, 20 km (12 mi) south-east of Braniewo, and 64 km (40 mi) north-west of the regional capital Olsztyn.
Before 1772 the area was part of Kingdom of Poland, 1772-1945 Prussia and Germany (East Prussia).
