Pieces of Time is a 1973 book by Peter Bogdanovich consisting of a collection of writings by Bogdanovich on film, including pieces he had previously done for Esquire.[1][2][3]
The director character in the 1978 film Hooper used the title phrase and the character was rumoured to be a send up of Bogdanovich.[4]
